Welcome to my web site, presented to showcase my photography and particularly my wild life images.  With one exception, all the subjects of my wild life pictures were wild and free and in their natural habitats when I photographed them.  The exception is the Barn Owl picture in my LRPS Panel; this was a captive bird at a local aviary. 

The pictures are taken with Canon digital SLR cameras (presently, EOS 1D Mk4 and EOS 1Ds Mk3) and an assortment of Canon lenses including the 500mm F4 IS, 300mm F2.8 IS, 70-200mm F2.8 IS and 24-70mm F2.8, variously accompanied by a Canon 1.4 or 2.0 converter.  Usually this equipment is supported by a Gitzo 1348 or a Gitzo 1228 tripod with a Wimberley gimbal head or a Manfrotto geared head.  In addition, from time to time, I also use a Panasonic GF1 micro four thirds camera.   The resulting Raw digital files are viewed and developed with Adobe Photoshop software.
